The Skin and Beauty Trends Set to Dominate 2026

Social media has transformed the trend-forecasting landscape: trends surface, swell and fade on TikTok and Instagram almost daily. But as consumers crave more personalized data, Yelp is emerging as a go-to source for what’s genuinely gaining traction. The platform, long known for its user reviews and recommendations, recently released its 2026 Trend Forecast report, spotlighting what’s poised to dominate next year.

The forecast falls into two categories: food and drink, and home, beauty and lifestyle. Compiling it was no small task—Yelp’s longstanding community data pulled from millions of searches nationwide to uncover what people are looking for, how they’re searching and where they’re seeking connection. And when it comes to beauty, interest in cosmetic treatments and self-care has never been higher. Keep reading to see what’s on the rise for 2026, according to the Yelp community.

Light & Laser-Focused Skin Care

Yelp’s report shows a major surge in searches for red light therapy, LED devices and professional laser treatments. Interest in laser facial treatments jumped an incredible 916 percent, with red light therapy treatments following at 304 percent—clear signs that consumers believe youthful skin requires more than topical products alone. As beauty enthusiasts zero in on sculpted jawlines and smoother, tighter skin, collagen-stimulating treatments are climbing, too. According to Yelp, searches for Sofwave are up 58 percent, while searches for Ultherapy are up 37 percent.

K-Beauty Trends

Moving into 2026, Korean beauty trends show no signs of slowing down. According to Yelp, K-beauty’s high-tech treatments will continue to drive global skin-care innovation—think PDRN facials and the topical products that complement them. Yelp also predicts that a new Korean injectable, Letybo, will become the next big thing. Despite receiving FDA approval only in March 2025, it’s already generating buzz on the platform. Searches have climbed an impressive 525 percent as people look for alternatives to Botox.

Hair Restoration

In 2025, consumers showed a sharp uptick in interest surrounding hair-growth products and restoration technologies—and Yelp’s latest data shows that momentum isn’t slowing. Searches for regenerative hair treatments continue to climb, with stem cell hair restoration leading the charge at a remarkable 567 percent increase. Hair transplant surgery follows with a 111 percent rise, and PRP restoration is up 51 percent. According to the report, users are looking for highly rated specialists who offer next-generation procedures and customized treatments.

NAD+ Restoration

NAD+ ( short for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a naturally occurring coenzyme that works to energize cells and fight aging effects. It’s become particularly buzzy as NAD+ treatments and topical products flooded the market throughout the year. As Yelp reports, people are interested in preventive initiatives, including new ways to support energy and promote youthfulness from the inside out. NAD+ plays a big role, and curiosity is slowly growing, hinting at a possible rise in 2026. Presently, the data reports search numbers are climbing 64 percent on the platform, with NAD injections being the most searched topic, skyrocketing to 1,720 percent.
